By now, all of you must have had as much news and commentary on the resistance to ICE by the people of Minneapolis as you wish to read or watch. So I am not following my usual practice of selecting some of the best of these to share with you.
But the greatest impact of these events, in my opinion, will come from songs. ”Streets of Minneapolis” by Bruce Springsteen, at the January 23 concert in Minneapolis has already gone viral, and evoked many covers. I have listed a few of the songs from this concert, as well as a few more original songs. Too many to watch in one session, of course. But I hope you will check out a few of them, and perhaps come back for a few more another time. Feel free to send me additional suggestions, and I may post short lists of others in future posts.
